This week marks 5 Years of Burger of the Week. And that means this is the last one. To mark the occasion, here's a burger made out of all my former BOTWs.

It's been a delight posting burgers, rather than eating burgers, for the last five years. I'm sure ya'll will still think of me whenever you see a snail painted like a hamburger.

Burger of the Week #259

Getting high with Burger King — check out this awesome BK balloon. Is it just me or does it not seem like the ideal ballooning shape?

Judging by this pin, I'm guessing this balloon had something to do with the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona?

This isn't the only time the King has been full of hot air. Here's another corporate balloon that flew over Spain in 2010. Apparently balloons really sell hamburgers in Spain!

Burger of the Week #258

Were your baby shoes bronzed? Bronzing shoes is an American tradition to make a keepsake of babies first steps. I'd be more inclined to bronze baby's first burger!

I went to a delightful beer and cupcake pairing last night at Hideout Brewing. The mini cupcakes (made from and paired with craft brews) were absolutely adorable.... yet they weren't as adorable as these hamburger cake pops.

Burger of the Week #256

Today we toured Continental ID Products in Sparta, Michigan — an impressive large format screen printer shop. They've printed a few things over the years that you may be familiar with.... notably... the Herman Miller's Summer Picnic Posters — famously designed by Steve Frykholm and friends from 1970 to 2012.

I was super pumped about the idea of posting one his posters here for BOTW... until I realized, he never did a burger one! So in the interest of poster design, I'm sharing this poster for the Dallas Farmer's Market. Looks pretty tasty, as long as that's mustard not worms!

Burger of the Week #255

This burger surprise was purchased today at a Korean grocery story in Toronto by a buddy of a buddy. It seems it should have been called MysteryBurger rather than EveryBurger, since they had no idea what it was!

Turns out it's chocolate burger cookies! Good surprise!

I leave for vacation tomorrow, but I'll be staying in the States, which means I will not be in a burgerless-nation, like Nick from SeriousEats, who went in search of a burger whilst in Italy, and all he found was this picture on the side of a food cart.

Discovered these wacky wares at the Detroit Urban Craft Fair by OuterSpaceWays a couple weeks ago. Their apparel combines several of my favorite things... cheeseburgers, cats, topless men and ALF. Really an amazing, one-of-a-kind discovery.
